By 1901 the family were at North Bierley. Mary was dead by this time.
William married his first wife, Mary Beanland on June 5th 1897 in Yeadon.In the 1901 census William was living at 2 Swains Hill Terrace in Yeadon with his first wife Mary. His first wife Mary died on 27th March 1913 of phitisis and exhaustion. William was present at the death.
William later married a second time to Mary Isabella Toakley on 25th January 1919. William gave his occupation as willeyer. (A willeyer is a person who throws handfulls of wool or hair, hemp or flax tow, etc., on to brattice or other feed apparatus of willeying machine, which separates fibres, and breaks up their natural matted state, and shakes out dirt and foreign matter therefrom, in preparation for carding; sometimes also blends materials together in process of willeying.)
They lived at 2 Granville Terrace Yeadon, according to electoral registers. William died on September 8th 1949. In 1965 Isabella was living at Flat 8, Chapel Lane, Yeadon.
George was born in Thornton in 1871. He attended school at School Hill, Yeadon and later at South View. He was a member of the choir at the Mission Room at Chapel Hill.
He followed his siblings into the woollen trade at Waterloo Mill, Pudsey. By 1901 George had become a carter to William Reynard. After marrying Lily in 1903 he lived at Tang Cottage. Later George was to take on the small holding of Grange Farm, High Birstwith and become postman for the area of Birstwith, Kettlesing and Norwood in 1908. He held this post until retirement on 26th March 1943. George was a chapel steward for many years for the Kettlesing Methodist chapel, where he was a member of the choir for 52 years, a Sunday school teacher and superintendent for 50 years. A picture survives of George on his rounds at Elton Top. A picture of George Marston and his family also survives.
George died in 1949. He is buried with his wife and son Fred at Birstwith St. James. Fred's wife Phyllis Rosa is buried in an adjacent grave.

All the children were born at Tang Cottage, Box Chair, Tang.
In 1901 Fred Marston was living with his parent in laws at Felliscliffe. He was occupied as a fell waller. The couple had a daughter Annie Mabel according to the 1901 census.

The birth certificates for the children are available in the appendix. All the children were born at Swincliffe Side, Felliscliffe. Fred described himself as a farmer on the birth certificates for all the children, except Arthur. On Arthur’s birth certificate Fred described himself as a stonemason. Mabel was known to be a nurse and Arthur had considerable skill as an artist.
In the 1901 census Robinson was staying with his aunt, Elizabeth Beetham. Robinson Marston later moved to Rockdale in Australia where he died in 1958. It is believed that he never married.
John Henry died in infancy in 1878.
