On the 1841 Hampsthwaite census the family are living at the Hollins. Joseph is a linen weaver. Sarah has already left home and has married George Towers.

By 1851 Joseph has married a second wife Hannah. They eventually have the family shown in below.

Second Family of Joseph Reynard

In the 1861 census Joseph has died and his widow is left with the six children. Joseph’s second wife lives in Hampsthwaite village in 1871.
