This set of records catalogue some of the knowledge gained of the wider Marston community obtained whilst researching the Marstons of Birstwith. The records have been collated from the collections of Births 1837 -1930, Marriages 1837-1930 and Deaths 1837-1983.
The families catalogued here do not represent the totality of the records available. Specifically, only registration districts where there is a significant Marston presence have been documented, ie only districts where distinct family groups can be constructed over several generations.
The purpose of the records is to act as a start point for people researching the Marstons of Yorkshire, rather than a definitive collection. That having been said, it is our intention to extend these records in the event that interest is shown and new records become available from external researchers.
