In the 1901 census Mary Greenwood was head of household running a lodging house at Town Square in Yeadon. The census shows her brother, Samuel Henry Marston, and 18 lodgers in her house. In 1911 Mary is still running the lodging house at Town Square and has her brother Samuel Henry Marston as a visitor.

William Skinner never adopted the Marston name. There is a photo of Ann Marston outside Westfield Farm, Idle in the Appendix.

The Marston children, except for Laura, were all born at Idle where the family ran Westfield Farm.

The 1891 census recorded the family at 31 Westfield Lane, Idle. By 1911 Edward is dead and the family is living at 5 Hope View Terrace, Windhill, Shipley.

The story of Amy Gordon is somewhat of a mystery. It had been assumed that Amy Gordon was adopted, however she appears to have been a nurse child according to the 1881 census and was later adopted by John Pennington according to the 1891 census.

Thomas was a farmer at Marton cum Grafton and also at Northowram. Later he had a butchers shop at 350 Manchester Road, Bradford.
